4 Questions to Ask Your Business Coach
Business coaching can help your business grow. In order for this to happen it’s important that you have a good relationship with your business coach.
You should be able to ask your business coach anything but to get the most out of your coaching sessions we suggest asking your coach four questions.
What are my strengths and weaknesses?
Knowing what your strengths and weaknesses are will help you gain a better understanding of yourself and how you operate.
Both you and your business coach will know where you and your team excel which enables you to be more aspirational, reach your targets and ultimately grow your business.
Knowing who has different strengths and weaknesses in your team is great for when you are delegating tasks. Having this information will help you select the correct member of your team for particular tasks.
How should I define success this month?
Businesses have different definitions of success. Most businesses we work with want to earn more money, have a great team and be able to take time off.
These things are not going to happen overnight.
Your business coach will ask what you want to achieve and break your ultimate goal into smaller, bite-size goals. While working on smaller goals you will be constantly growing your business.
Which part of my business should I make a priority?
The wonderful thing about coaching is that there’s always an unbiased opinion to hand. It can be difficult to see what should take priority when you’re working in the business every day.
There are many things that businesses need to know to be successful but for different businesses, there will be different priorities.
Your coach will work with you to understand what you should be prioritising and how to succeed with that.
Do you have any recommendations to further my learning?
Business coaches know that learning is essential. The phrase knowledge is power isn’t just a phrase.
Continuous learning will help prepare you for the unexpected, boost your confidence, and spark new ideas. The more you read, the more you know.
Your business coach should have plenty of book recommendations to help further your knowledge on business in general or something particular that you need help with.
