Award Winning Wedding Venue with a Record Forward Order Book

Prior to John joining us at Hirst Priory we were pretty well – well – stuck ! We had been running the business for five years and were not even sure that we had a business to take forward. We had heard about John in the media – social media and the local press – from all the awards his client’s were winning. After speaking to him for thirty minutes it was evident he knew how to make businesses work, and that we would be foolish to not, at least, give him a try.

It became evident, very early, that John doesn’t do ‘trying’. You’re either ‘all in’ or you’re ‘not in’. The impact of working with John has been transformational – there is no other word for it. His knowledge of all things business is incredible, and he has the ability to ask you the questions that, deep down, you know you should have been asking – but have never done so because of the lack of accountability. Coaching is not for the feint hearted – you will know very quickly whether it will work for you. But, as John always points out, he never does any work in our business – we do. We are the ones who make it happen, but we make it happen because we have someone alongside us who pushes us to be the very best version of us that we can be.
John’s belief in you as an individual is staggering. That belief makes you believe you can achieve anything, and since starting with John things have changed massively for us. We were recently named “Best Historic Wedding Venue in the whole of the UK 2021” with The Wedding Industry Awards and have collaborated on some incredible photoshoots which are set to be published in the coming months.

   

 

Our bookings moving forward are at unprecedented levels, and our cashflow forecast (we have one of these for the first time ever!) looks very healthy.

The past year has been difficult with a period of immense uncertainty (Coronavirus April 2020) but John’s unwavering belief in who we are and how good we are, has allowed us to approach everything with a positive mindset and only deal with the things we can control. To that end, every single wedding that has had to be postponed, every single one has re-arranged with us, so we’ve lost no weddings. Our forward order book is the healthiest it has ever been with a record number of weddings booked in for 2021 and 2022 is getting close to ‘full’ too.

For anyone considering a Business Coach, choose carefully. John came on the back of generating client results for several businesses across many different business sectors. Having worked with him for several months now, it is easy to see why his clients were winning so many awards.
